Volunteer

All volunteer positions for 2023 have now been filled. If you are interested in volunteering beyond 2023, you can still fill in the form.

It's tough to find words that describe how grateful we are for the heart-warming efforts and loving energy given from all our committed volunteers at last year's edition of Above Below. Unique friendships were made and the atmosphere was unparalleled. A huge thank you to those who joined the team for the long weekend and allowed the collective dream to flourish - we couldn't have done it without you!

The time has come again to ask you for your much appreciated helping hands and to put out the feelers to broaden our core family with some volunteers. We love seeing old, friendly faces return just as much as welcoming any first-timers - as long as you're on board with sharing some warm energy, having a dance and helping someone out every now and again!

We welcome you to help us nurture the Above Below Festival 2023 vision.

It's a two way thing ... mutual benefit is a must, so here's what's on offer:

What we can offer you for your commitment:

Free entry to Above Below 2023.

Drink tokens to use over the weekend.

Full training for your role(s).

Full cover with Employers' Liability insurance.

An approachable face that you can ask questions to, make suggestions, or make fun of.

What we would like in return from you:

To be able to attend a volunteer and safety briefing the day before the festival opens to attendees - on Thursday 1st June. During the briefing, you will receive training for your role(s). You will of course be permitted to camp on site that night.

Your commitment to approximately 3 x 4 hour shifts over the three days of the festival (Shifts may be split differently, usually one shift per day).

To be on time and able to do the shifts you have been allocated.

A deposit to secure your place as a volunteer (by purchasing a volunteer ticket). This will be returned after the festival, following completion of your shifts.

To be a proactive member of the Above Below family and share positive energy with all fellow festival-goers!

In order to volunteer, you must be available for the briefing at 3pm on Thursday 1st June . Please confirm that you will be able to attend this. If you cannot, please speak to us as soon as possible.
